    [30 Oct 2019] On 18th of October, Nancy Baym - Senior Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research USA, was awarded the honorary doctorate at the IT Faculty, during the grand Conferment Ceremony at University of Gothenburg.

  • IT as support for reduced maternal mortality - interview with Hawa Nyende

    [21 Oct 2019] Hawa Nyende is one of the PhD students in the BRIGHT project - a SIDA-financed collaboration between University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden, and Mbarara University and Makerere University in Uganda. Hawa Nyende's research area is in the e-health domain, with a focus on the use of IT to reduce maternal mortality in developing countries.
