Lunch lecture IV: Who controls the internet?

Göta Student Union IT Section's next and fourth lecture with the title "Who controls the internet?" will be held on Monday, April 29th, 12-13 in Torg Orange.

This lecture will be hosted by Jan Aart Scholte, who is a professor in peace and development with research interest in e.g. Global Internet Governance and Global Democracy.

Jan will refer to several Sustainable Developmental Goals related to peace, human rights and infrastructure and will raise a discussion over whether it is big states, big corporations or computer geeks, etc. who dominate our digital lives. What scope do we as citizens have to take back control of the online world?

There will be vegetarian and vegan lunch sandwiches provided according to a "first come - first served" principle.

We wish you all very warmly welcome!
